Ultra Violet

Not sure if I told you all that I set up my ivf blog the other day.. anyway I did that!!!

Ive added yet more content pages and some not so content pages to my spike files site. I also signed up for a new host @ Icd soft.com I'll let you know how that all works out.
It will be a week or two before I move my current domain over and park it on one of their servers. The reason that I'm swappin is that they offer so much more than yahoo, and their cheaper too. Although having to pay a years hosting in one go is a drawback - but its ok.

Nothing much else to report. Hope to spend the weekend creating graphics and such - so look out for a new look for my blog. I don't actually know what it looks like at the moment, but ULTRA Violet and my ivf, and the Spike Files blog are all going to get a makeover. Plus I'm going to put together some other blog templates and graphics for others to use on their spike blogs. I think that will be pretty cool.

Thats it for today. Yet another day fades into oblivvion.

I've finally got most of my sites pages tranferred over to Version 2.0. I'm so happy that I have even applied for an award at the Judgement Awards

I'm also working on a lot of new graphic type things such as buttons, banners, that kind of thing.

I'm very upset that I am not yet listed in google, despite being listed on DMOZ.org I wanted to use google as my site's search engine, but obviously thats just not going to happen. at least not yet.

I think I'm going to turn Being-Violet.com into both a creative site for all my brushes and other graphic type things I create, maybe even some cool blands and fonts even!. It will also become home to the ULTRA- Violet blog, as well as my new IVF journey blog. I haven't really started writing in my IVF journey blog, but I have created it and was lucky enough to get the free blogspot adress of myivf.blogspot.com ivf was already taken, but I was still pretty happy. Our first appointment isn't Untill the end of April, SO I will begin that project a week or so before the first appointment. Hopefully It will help to offer some insight for others who are contemplating the ivf journey.

ANyways, Tommorrow, or this weekend at least I am going to sign up for a new hosting account at ICDSoft, they offer some pretty cool things for a really cheap price, such as php, cgi-bin, custom 404 error pages, favourites icons and more , just $65us a year including domain registration. SO I'm going to move over to Spikefiles.net - and just park Spikefiles.com pointing to the .net name - kind of like a mirror site.

Violet

Kind of a pain that you can't view the layout - as a kind of help when editing the layout .. that is until you have made at least one post in your Blog. What's the problem you ask??? Well I'm writing this on the fly , simply to fill up some space in the required first post, when I would have much prefered to have been able to take a little bit of time about it and written it with a fresh mind, that wasn't busy thinking about trying to re-organise the layout.

Also I wanted my first post to be kind of Special. I wanted to be able to link to it from the main page, using it for all its worth as a semi- kind of ABOUT me , and my blog type of thing. Oh well I guess that I will just be linking to the second blog post - unless I go back and delete this silly post.

Have you ever noticed that if you don't use your brain for acedemic pursuits it starts to shrivel and loose its finesse!. When I speak of 'acedemic purposes' i am referring to a whole lot of things that exsist somewhere within the scope between something as simple as reading a good novel regularly, to studying and writing essays and other intelligent pieces, to discovering some new physics breakthrough along the lines of the theory of relativity! If your not using your brain you kind of loose parts. I'm finding myself loosing words, my vocabulary is beginning to shrink, and the lights are going dim. My mind just isn't working as well as it used to. I'm sick of having words stuck to the tip of my tounge, when I really need them to be tapping out of the ends of my fingers. Its not that I am getting old or senile, I'm simply letting my brain turn to mush by being a bored housewife. I just can't really think clearly lately.. its been happening for a while now, and I'm fed up with it. I want to whip my mind into shape - ... Damn I lost a bloody word. ..wait I found it
I want to invigorate (sic.) my mind. If we don't excersize our body it goes fat and flabby, weighed down under its own excess weight. It gets sluggish and tired and the problem just builds upon itselsize , you will have more energy, but you don't have the energy to excersize.
This is the trap my mind is in. The less I use it the more weighed down it gets with grey fuzzballs, my mind is drowning in the lint trap!!!
I'm highly intelligent and have an IQ of 139, which is pretty darn good. I was always top of my class, and well within reach of the top of the school. I was still smart even though I left school before finishing yr 10. I did well with written compositions when I returned to study a couple of years later, often getting distinctions on my work - or A's.
But the last few years I have let my whoile life slide. My bodies fucked, my brain can't think and well I'm generally screweed up.

I want to be healthy, not thin - but definately not this fat. I want to get under a particular figure - similar to pre baby weight!, I want to feel smart again. I want to take part in intelligent conversations. I want to have a life and enjoy living it. And I really really want to move out of this shitty house, and have a baby. I'm going to go for a walk now, and make an appointment with the IVF clinic in the morning!
